Dear Minister,

First of all a heartily congratulation, that due to your valiant effort and dedication, there has been just one official terrorist attack after 26/11.Only 9 people and 8 families were directly effected. You managed to ensure that there was no serial blasts. And ofcourse you and your government , made sure that 50% of the police force are busy in facilitating a smooth release of My name is Khan.So what, if there was a terror attack at the very same time due to lack of policing. We all understand that lives of common men are much less significant than the losses that Shahrukh Khan would have faced had the movie been disrupted. That seriously deserves all the accolades and applause that you and your government have asked for. The attack that took place in Pune this Saturday, although was a terrorist attack, but it wasn’t of that bigger magnitude. There was just one bomb blast. Not a big deal ..haa? And this time, due to yours or theirs generosity; none of the businessmen and the high-profile people were affected. Thanks so much for this, we can afford to lose few common men, can’t we. Our lives have much lesser face value theirs. Out of the 1 billion population of the country, just 9 people lost their lives, which accounts to a mere 0.000000009%. The rest, due to your magnanimous effort and assistance, could sit in their drawing-room and enjoy the sensationalization of the same news by practically all the channels. And I must commend the dialogue writers of those channels, and the anchors. they’ve indeed enlightened us that acting and doing drama are not only constrained to Actors alone, but the media is now almost at par. Oops, sorry for excluding the political fraternity. After all, these days, acting and dialogue delivery in press-conferences are one of the pre-requisites that you need to have in your resume if you have to be a politician. Sometimes I tend to go by the bookish definition of the jobs, so I miss out on these points. Deepest Apology. But coming back to your achievements, it has a long list man. I mean, you have protected our national hero Kasab for over 1 year now and that too by spending just a mere 65 crores. And not to forget, how well you have saved our constitution to be disgraced , by not letting Afzal guru be hanged even after getting Capital punishment by the Supreme Court. How well you have solved the immigration problems in Mumbai and Delhi. You have made these places so unsafe that people from other states would just refrain from coming here. I think both the Thackreys would give you a serious Thumbs Up. By creating an image of our country as an unsafe place to travel for the tourists, you did such a big favor. When all the medical research and doctors had given up on the issues of Swine Flu, bird flu, that was the time when you came up and blessed us with this brilliant solution. If they don’t come , neither swine flu would come nor bird flu. Masterstroke indeed!!.It’s said, that when you know that your life is uncertain, you don’t hold back, feelings of embarrassment, and all just doesn’t feature in your thought process. And it’s all because of you. Due to your sublime efforts, every Indian feels the same. All of ours life is so very uncertain , that we can do things what we want. These days, husbands call their wives two times a day from their office to ensure that they are safe. You must have received so many blessings from housewives all over India. and not to mention from the Mobile operators as well. We had learnt in school, that we utilize only a fraction of our brain while Einstein used to employ a little more. Thanks to you sir , that we have so much to ponder now. So much to apply our brains on, find out newer ways to survive, which restaurants to go to, which one to avoid, when to take the train, when not to. You have finally listened to the requests of the B-tier cities about them featuring in national news. I hope you won’t disappoint other cities like Jaipur, Lucknow & Patna, and they will also get to see their people blasted in some hotel or busses and feature in National News. You were so very right that you can’t provide 24X7 security to the restaurants and public places. After all the resources are few and they have to take are of the bungalows of the 546 colleagues of yours. You are indeed an Iron Man, the man who will make India , one nation in the true sense of the word. Just that a man who lost his son in the Bomb blast has a thing to say to you. For him, it was not 9 out of 1 billion, for him it was 1 out of 1, which makes it 100% for him.But then, he should get his statistics right. 3 days of media reports about his son, that too blended with all non-sense stuffs with no reference to truth. That is all he got.A lifetime of burden. He avoids most of his family and friends when they call because when he does speak to them, they will say, “How are you?” and he answers, “Not good,” and they will tell him, “How come, what’s the matter?” He takes it as being very insensitive, even though they probably don’t mean it that way. It’s like he tries extra hard not to have a “good time” or do things he used to like to do because he feels like his son is saying, “Mom, what are you doing? You are not thinking of me. Hey mom, I’m the one that has passed on.” It may sound crazy, but he feels like that sometimes. He has so many emotions. Some days he is so angry, angry at the whole world, angry at everyone who is walking around enjoying life, making plans for the future. He starts to think, wow, his son is not enjoying life or making plans; instead, his life was snatched away from him and now he is in the cold ground all alone. Some days he tries to pretend that this was all a nightmare and it never happened. But then, bygones are bygones, he should understand this. After all he just lost a son.
Thanks so much for all your efforts and I hope you won’t disappoint us in future as well.
Yours’ Sincerely

Sarthak Siddhartha,

1988- (Whenever they wish)
